Meet our Executive Director
Beth Murphy, LPN
Executive Director
Beth Murphy embarked on her journey with Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County in March 2015, bringing along an impressive 28 years of experience in the nursing profession. Her career exemplifies her adaptability and commitment, covering nearly all facets of patient care. She has served as a surgical floor nurse, worked in long-term care, hospice and home health, all of which have equipped her for her current position as the administrator of Renaissance.
As a military child, Beth experienced the unique lifestyle of relocating every two years, a circumstance she believes has made her exceptionally adaptable. This ability enables her to connect with, comprehend and lead individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
Beth enjoys a range of hobbies, such as planting flowers, listening to audiobooks and what she fondly refers to as "chicken therapy." Her family is her utmost pride: she is married and has three children, each committed to community service—her son, Ty, constructs homes; her daughter, Jordan, serves as a 911 dispatcher; and her daughter Tori, is a paramedic. Her husband holds the rank of lieutenant with the Greene County Sheriff's Office. At home, she is accompanied by her cherished pets: a rescue golden/lab mix named Mia and five small dachshunds.
