Perfect Assisted living Score

Stanardsville, Va. (April 2024) — Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County, a premier assisted living community located at the gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, recently received a perfect score on their unannounced inspection from the State of Virginia Department of Social Services. The inspection is conducted by the state each year to ensure quality measures and safe practices are implemented within the community.

As part of the inspection, the state reviews many aspects of The Renaissance, including clinical records, policies, documentation, life safety, security and the systems and processes that contribute to the general well-being of residents and family members. Achieving the highest possible rating, The Renaissance is proud to announce that they have received no violations, offering the very best care for their community of residents.

“We are very honored to have received a perfect score in our state survey. We couldn’t do it without our dedicated team members who work diligently each day to ensure a safe, comfortable, and home-like atmosphere for our residents. Receiving no violations in an unannounced state survey attests to the hard work and commitment from each of our team members,” said Beth Murphy, Executive Director of The Renaissance.

“I am very proud of our team members and the leadership team at Renaissance. This recognition exemplifies the dedicated work and service that we stand by in our mission; to serve the greatest generation with honor, respect, faith and integrity,” said Amber Ralls, Regional Director of Operations of Legacy Senior Living.
